People these days get a little sloppy with grammar. Some people are even too lazy to proofread things. Proofreading is very important, but if you miss a mistake on a wiki, people can correct you by leaving a comment.
Leaving a comment can be very helpful for a wiki. No one wants mistakes in their reports or even their wikis. It is important for people to accept criticism and use it for their advantage. If you are leaving a correction on someone's wiki, you should probably use netiquette and not be rude. Make sure you are not wrong about your correction, either. For the wiki owner who is receiving the criticism, they should be polite about it as well. For example, you should correct your error. You should also reply back to the commenter and say thank you for the help. Being polite and using netiquette is incredibly important.
If you do not accept criticism in the right way, you can come off as rude. Coming off as rude is not good. It is not good because your visitors to your wiki would think you're rude. If they think you're rude, they will not think your wiki is good and they will not visit it.
