Teachers should change their style of teaching using Tapscott's Norms to make lessons more appealing and easier to learn for today's learners. Although this may be hard and difficult, sometimes I think it's worth it.

The world of technology is changing all the time. If schools like Pleasant Plains High School sticks with the technology that they have chosen in the beginning, the students will suffer. In college, technology is being updated more frequently. When we get to college, there will be different and new technology than what we used in high school. We will be behind other students who went to high school with technology that was constantly being updated.

Teachers should change their style. In some schools students use laptops in class to take notes and do research. This is faster, more fun, and easier in my opinion. In Mr. Langley's room we use laptops and I love it. In all my other classes we aren't even ATTEMPTING to use technology. I think the classrooms need to update.

But there's always the situation of money. It costs a lot of money to stay updated with technology, but in my opinion, it's worth it. Lessons would be more appealing and easier to learn from.

If more classrooms used laptops in class, students would be more interested. Each student should have their own laptop and travel from classroom to classroom with it. This would be easy to contain all of their information and it would also be more fun. Today's learners use technology during their own time, so while they are at school they should be able to at least be in the current technology state that they are at at their own house.
